New Place of Recovery Treatment Center LLC (NPORTC) is a CARF-accredited provider of community-based behavioral health services, proudly serving individuals across the state of Maryland. We specialize in outpatient mental health and addiction treatment for adult men and women who continue to battle the disease of addiction.

Founded by Nnenna Ezeh, our center is guided by her vision and dedication as an addiction counselor. Her long-term mission is to drive lasting social change and provide meaningful support to individuals struggling with mental health, addiction, and alcohol dependency.

We believe that by helping and supporting our individuals spiritually, physically, and mentally it will give them the advantage to re-enter his or her community with a fresher outlook on life.

New Place of Recovery Treatment Center LLC Center’s goal is to assist men and women who have become exiled for various reasons. We invest in those we serve by providing a comfortable atmosphere to support change.

Our goal is met when our individuals completes the treatment therapy and becomes a positive, productive person who is giving back to the community.

Our Story

Ms. Nnenna Ezeh, MS, BSW, CSC-AD, RPS
Founder & President

Nnenna Ezeh, Founder and President of New Place of Recovery, has dedicated her career to creating lasting social change and empowering individuals struggling with mental health, addiction, and alcohol dependency.

With a passion for helping children, teens, and adults battling drug and alcohol dependency as well as other forms of addiction such as gambling. Ms. Ezeh is committed to working collaboratively with clients to identify addictive behaviors and develop personalized recovery plans.

Her long-term vision as an addiction counselor is to promote healing, self-awareness, and sustainable recovery by addressing the root causes of addiction and supporting every individual’s journey toward a healthier life.
